Sunday, 20. September 2009 16:19

Are you a soon-to-be mom impatient to go see the doctor in between the visits? Do you wish you could just take that ultrasound machine from the doctor’s office and use in the privacy of your home to listen to your little one at any time? Well, you will not need to replay Ocean’s Eleven, because you can have your own Pregnancy doppler at home. Pregancy dopplers, also called fetal heartbeat monitor or baby heartbeat monitor, are devices you can simply buy at the store or (in our case) from Baby Heartbeat Monitor! They are safe units that amplifies the sound coming from mom’s belly and allow dad, any siblings, your parents, your in-laws, your best friends to share those precious moments with you. Some devices even include a cable that can be plugged in to a recorded, to keep those previous moment’s forever!

To view our pregnancy doppler products and other pregnancy products, why don’t you have a look at the main page of Baby Heartbeat Monitor.

What is the normal fetal heart rate?

Sunday, 20. September 2009 15:59

Are you getting a very fast heart rate from your baby? This is to be expected. You baby’s heartbeat will sound much faster than your own heart rate. Normal fetal heart rate will range anywhere between 120 to 180 beats per minute, while the average adult heart rate is only 60 to 100 beats per minute. Some women have even described the sound of normal fetal heart rate to sound like horses galloping or a train starting.  Before using your baby heartbeat monitor, why don’t you have a listen of this video, it will help you find what you are supposed to look for.

You will see in this video what to expect when you are using a baby heartbeat monitor, and how the parents are excited and are relieved when hearing their baby.

Find more information about baby heartbeat and fetal heart rate on Baby Heartbeat Monitor.

Books for mom-to-be (or dad-to-be)

Wednesday, 13. May 2009 1:08

Congratulations, you are expecting a baby! Well Moms and Dads-to-be, learning and reading are the key points in a healthy pregnancy. Especially if you are a first parent, there are a lot to expect. We suggest here fun pregnancy journals, books for dad-to-be as well as comprehensive guides that address both the medical and emotional aspects of pregnancy. Books are good ways to learn faster how to be a parent and are a good reference in times of distress (when your own mom is away on vacation and unable to answer your phone calls!). By reading other people advices and suggestions, you will find out that you are not alone, and that other people have probably already experienced what you have experienced and there is a reason or a solution for everything!
